Resource relationshiping

Relationships between resources and modalities let you control what you see in your home page. When you run a modality, all the resources relationshiped to that modality are shown in your home page.

  • How do I create a relationship between a resource and a modality on Realer?

    To create a relationship between a resource and a modality:

    1. Make sure you utilise both the resource and the modality that you want to relate.
    2. Go to the resource page on Realer.
    3. From the resource page, click on under the resource name and select Edit usage relationship.
    4. From within the edit usage relationship box, search for the modality that you want to relate to the resource and click relate.
    5. Choose the privacy setting for the relationship between the resource and the modality.
    6. Click Create relationship.

    Note: We recommend to relate to resources only the modalities that accomplish to things that you need and care. There are limitations on the number of resources you can relate.

  • How do I edit a relationship between a resource and a modality on Realer?

    To edit a relationship between a resource and a modality:

    1. Make sure the relationship between the resource and the modality exists.
    2. Go to the resource page on Realer.
    3. From the resource page, click on under the resource name and select Edit usage relationship.
    4. From within the edit usage relationship box, search for the modality whose relationship you want to edit and click edit relationship.
    5. Edit the relationship between the resource and the modality.
    6. When you are finished, click Update relationship.
  • How do I delete a relationship between a resource and a modality on Realer?

    To delete a relationship between a resource and a modality:

    1. Make sure the relationship between the resource and the modality exists.
    2. Go to the resource page on Realer.
    3. From the resource page, click on under the resource name and select Edit usage relationship.
    4. From within the edit usage relationship box, search for the modality whose relationship you want to delete, click on and select Delete relationship.
    5. Confirm the deletion of the relationship between the resource and the modality by clicking on Destroy relationship.
