Modality relationshiping

Relationships between modalities and resources let you control what you see in your home page. When you run a modality, all the resources relationshiped to that modality are shown in your home page.

  • How do I create a relationship between a modality and a resource on Realer?

    To create a relationship between a modality and a resource:

    1. Make sure you utilise both the modality and the resource that you want to relate.
    2. Go to the modality page on Realer.
    3. From the modality page, click on under the modality name and select Edit usage relationship.
    4. From within the edit usage relationship box, search for the resource that you want to relate to the modality and click relate.
    5. Choose the privacy setting for the relationship between the modality and the resource.
    6. Click Create relationship.

    Note: We recommend to relate to modalities only the resources that accomplish to things that you need and care. There are limitations on the number of modalities you can relate.

  • How do I edit a relationship between a modality and a resource on Realer?

    To edit a relationship between a modality and a resource:

    1. Make sure the relationship between the modality and the resource exists.
    2. Go to the modality page on Realer.
    3. From the modality page, click on under the modality name and select Edit usage relationship.
    4. From within the edit usage relationship box, search for the resource whose relationship you want to edit and click edit relationship.
    5. Edit the relationship between the modality and the resource.
    6. When you are finished, click Update relationship.
  • How do I sort resources for a modality on Realer?

    To sort resources for a modality:

    1. Go to the modality page on Realer.
    2. From the modality page, click on under the modality name and select Edit usage relationship.
    3. From within the edit usage relationship box, click on the right of Relationshipable resources.
    4. Click Sort resource relationships.
    5. Sort resources using .
    6. When you are finished, click Done.
  • How do I delete a relationship between a modality and a resource on Realer?

    To delete a relationship between a modality and a resource:

    1. Make sure the relationship between the modality and the resource exists.
    2. Go to the modality page on Realer.
    3. From the modality page, click on under the resource name and select Edit usage relationship.
    4. From within the edit usage relationship box, search for the resource whose relationship you want to delete, click on and select Delete relationship.
    5. Confirm the deletion of the relationship between the modality and the resource by clicking on Destroy relationship.
